In the 1980s, we established our corporate identity as “Vahdet Integrated Meat Facilities” and continued to grow with our commitment to quality.
In 2000, we established the DANET brand along with our modern production facility. Today, with our wide product range—from fresh meat to delicatessen items, and from kavurma to pastrami—we preserve traditional flavors while developing innovative tastes that meet contemporary expectations. Our main area of expertise, red meat, stands out as the category where we truly differentiate ourselves.
In Afyonkarahisar, 10.000 sq²’ in our halal-certified facility in Afyonkarahisar, we produce products from Turkey’s finest cattle in accordance with international hygiene and food safety standards. With our logistics and fresh meat processing facility in Istanbul, we strengthen our supply network and export to nearly 20 countries, bringing traditional Turkish flavors to the world.
With our sustainable production approach, we source 100% of our energy from renewable resources and work diligently to reduce our carbon footprint. While strengthening our pioneering position in the industry through R&D, digitalization, and retail investments, we continue to create value for our country together with over 500 employees.

Our Milestones: Danet from Past to Present

Milestones

1975
Our journey began with a small butcher shop opened in the Şuhut district of Afyonkarahisar. The steps taken that day laid the foundations of our brand, “Vahdet Sucukları.”
1982
It marked an important milestone in the growth journey of Vahdet Integrated Meat Facilities, founded under the leadership of Recep Uluçay and Salim Özdemir.
2000
With the launch of our modern production facility in Afyonkarahisar, we expanded our product range. In addition to fresh meat products, we began offering consumers a richer taste experience with our delicatessen varieties such as sucuk, pastrami, kavurma, and salami.
2005
We took an innovative step in sacrificial meat sales by launching our “Home Delivery Qurbani” service, offering greater convenience to our consumers.
2012
As we opened our logistics and fresh meat processing facility in Istanbul, we also modernized our slaughterhouse and production lines, increasing our operational efficiency.
2015
By adding döner and köfte to our product range, we offered a wider variety of flavors to our customers’ tables.
2020
Our traditional delicacies, Afyon Sucuğu and Afyon Pastrami, were registered as geographically indicated products under the protocol we signed with the Afyon Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This registration marks an important step in officially protecting and promoting our traditional flavors.
2021
Through the TİM InoSuit Program, we sustainably strengthened our innovation management capabilities and established our corporate innovation system.
2023
We launched our gluten-free product range to the market. DANET Afyon Sucuğu won first place in the Geographical Indication Products category at the Trusted Products Platform’s Feed the Future Awards. According to Nielsen data, DANET Kavurma — Turkey’s most preferred — grew at twice the market rate and became the market leader.
2024
We returned with two first-place awards from the Feed the Future Awards in the Gluten-Free Products and Meat & Meat Products categories. In addition, with the 4 MW Solar Power Plant we established in Afyonkarahisar, we now meet all our electricity consumption from renewable energy sources — marking a significant step forward in our sustainability journey.
2025
By applying to the TÜBİTAK 1507 Program, we accelerated our project aimed at optimizing energy and water use in our production processes and reducing our carbon and water footprint.
